Brief

In addition to being the owner of Amity Digital, Brian Welch has been active in Boy Scouts for most of his life.  Both of his sons have now moved on from Cub Scouts and are in the Boy Scouts now but Brian spent 7 years as a leader in the Cub Pack and remains a member of the committee and the official webmaster.  We took this project on for free, to build the Cub Pack a new website with helpful info on the pack and a place for them to share and store pictures.  It was a fun project to work on and will be an ever evolving website as we continue to add more content.  Amity Digital manages all aspects of this website.

Deliverables

The Cub Pack already had a website but it was pretty basic and hadn’t been updated in awhile.  We were tasked with creating them a brand new website that would look good and be functional.  Being a Cub Scout leader is a lot of work and we believe the website can help make that job easier by creating a web site that would help communicate out the schedule as well as give parents a place to upload and share photos.

The website as it stands now is version 1.0 and some of the features can’t be seen by people that aren’t part of the Pack.  The idea behind that was to make sure that we maintained the privacy of the Scouts and gave the parents a place to freely share pictures of their child’s experiences.

As mentioned, this is an ongoing project and we will continue to work with the Pack to create a website that meets there needs.  This is just step 1 and we hope to be involved for a long time to come.
