The owners of BrewSwag.com wanted to build an online store selling their own merchandise aimed at the homebrew and craft beer community. They had several products designed and sold them under a different name, but wanted a brand-new site with a unique look. Being passionate craft beer fans ourselves, it was a fun project to take on.

Their original site had been dormant for many months. They contacted us, discussed their goals, and imparted the final vision they hoped to share. Based on their needs, we recommended the Shopify platform to power their Ecommerce store. We developed their logo and branding, designed their website, created a marketing launch plan, and continue to do all of their product photography.

More than half of all online sessions occur through mobile devices, so it was important to make the website work equally well on desktop computers and mobile devices.

Ecommerce sites require large and enticing imagery to sell their product, but with larger image sizes come slower download speeds — the additional challenge was to build it in such a way that it loads fast on any device.

Results

The site was dormant when we started, and it was getting very little traffic. We redesigned their brand, built them a new website, and updated their product images. We developed a marketing launch plan and helped them execute on that plan, breathing new life into a forgotten site. Completing the project ahead of schedule, they were open in time for the holiday season and reported a very successful 2018.

We continue to work with them as we regularly update their website, handle their product photography, and manage their digital marketing.
