For over 23 years, Joe Stadelmeyer has been involved with insurance and restoration.

Before starting his own business, Joe worked for a large property casualty insurance company. His job? Adjusting large losses for commercial and residential customers. He also acted as a Re-inspector and Trainer throughout his career which included extensive catastrophe work.

When we met with Joe, he had a very outdated website for Apex Consulting. He needed a modern website that promoted his branding, described his services, and made it easy for website viewers to leave information and/or ask a question. Enter: Amity Digital.

Deliverables

Dividing Image

Joe had a website for Apex Consulting, but it was extremely dated and nearly abandoned. There was very little information detailing  his services, nearly non-existent branding, and very few images representing the visual story behind behind said services.

The thing about Joe: He actually didn’t want a lot of text, and he wasn’t overly concerned with ranking online for his services. He just wanted something that looked nice with professional, industry-relevant images — something that had enough information, but wasn’t concerned with explaining, in great detail, the nuances of every service.

And although there wasn’t a concern for ranking, he needed a responsive website, considering his current site wasn’t sizing itself properly for use on mobile devices like smartphones. Because of this, viewing content and navigating the website were practically impossible on smaller screens.

This is how we helped:

We created a new website promoting his bread and butter services: estimating and consulting. And we used the full width of the available screen space which created a clean, spacious, and organized website filled with sharp, colorful images conveying the visual story of his services.

We expressed his branding throughout the site with clever, repeating geometrics and tasteful color splashes.

Although text isn’t overly abundant, we collaborated with Joe to create industry-relevant copy in an effort to build trust with, inform, and educate website visitors.

Did we make the website responsive? Of course! DUH! Website visitors can now view the website easily and actually find/use the navigation. Is this important? Of course! Why? Because more than 52% of all online traffic occurs through mobile devices. A website that isn’t mobile-friendly is denying itself a considerable chunk of online traffic.

Before Amity Digital:

Apex Consulting before Amity Digital

After Amity Digital:

Were they happy? Oh, yeah.

Joe was (and still is) super-happy with his new website.

The website is now responsive, so it configures itself according to the device being used. People can now navigate the website using handheld devices (like smartphones) and easily ask a question or request information.

The website features helpful text in order to inform visitors of Joe’s experience and areas of expertise.

With professional, full-color images and an expansion of the Apex branding, we elevated the visual presentation of Apex Consulting’s online representative.

This website really captured what Joe was hoping for: Something simple, attractive, and representative of Joe’s branding and extensive experience.
