You can ask for a customer review via email or phone (or right then and there on your own tablet enabled with our ‘kiosk mode’). When they receive the request, they’re asked to rate you on a scale of 0 to 10. If you’re familiar with the Net Promoter score, that’s what this is. If they give you a high rating, it will encourage them to leave a review on the platforms of your choice (Google and Facebook are the most popular, but there are plenty of others). If they give you a low score, it will encourage them to send their negative feedback directly to you so you can address it. Good online reviews deliver a one-two punch for your business. The most obvious benefit? Consumers want to see reviews before giving you their money. And if they like what they see, they’ll tend to spend more because businesses with more reviews and higher ratings quickly establish trust with potential customers.
The second benefit, and equally important: Websites with good reviews rank higher on Google. Google looks at your overall rating, how many reviews you have, and how recent your last review was when determining how to rank you. That’s huge. Why two pricing tiers? Well, one is for those wishing to manage the software themselves, and the other is for allowing us to manage it. We use the software on a daily basis, so we recommend allowing us to handle it for you. And it’s not because we’re trying to make more money — with the extra work involved in managing the account, we make about the same with both pricing plans. The main reason we recommend handling it has to do with your personal time constraints. In our experience, most small business owners are too busy to manage it properly. They sign up, pick the less expensive option, don’t use it, and then cancel because they aren’t seeing results. For a few dollars more, we recommend allowing us to manage it. All you have to do with the fully managed option is send us your new client information on a daily or weekly basis and we’ll take care of it from there.
